Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at our 2012 Cannelton Heritage Festival. This year is extra special because it marks the 175th year of the founding of Cannelton. The festival is planning to be larger this year due to special programming and events honoring the town's birthday.
It is helpful for us to know what you plan to sell or demonstrate at your booth and any special needs you may have so we may place you in an optimal booth location. We only accept booths with handmade arts/crafts items. Absolutely no flea market novelty items, or home catalog sales items (ie. Pampered Chef, Thirty-One, Scentsy, Avon, etc.).
Here are a few more details regarding the event so that you may be better prepared to enjoy our festival. The Cannelton Heritage Festival is a one-day festival on October 13, 2012 from 10am-6pm (Central). Most vendors should arrive no later than 9:30am to set up. The actual festival will be held on Washington Street in downtown historic Cannelton (rain or shine). If you need an address for GoogleMaps, please use 516 Washington Street, Cannelton, IN 47520.
Art/Crafts booth rental is $20.00. A (non-refundable) deposit of $10.00 secures your booth space, and the remaining balance is due the day of the festival. Apply online, or download and mail.
Food booth rental is $25 for organizations and churches (non-profit), and $50 for private businesses (for-profit). A (non-refundable) deposit of $10.00 secures your booth space, and the remaining balance is due the day of the festival. Contact Barbara Beard at 812-547-7177 for booth rental.
Application and deposit can be mailed to Cannelton Foundation, c/o Brandi Hess, 7365 Trolly Road, Cannelton, IN 47520.
Booth space is approximately 10’ X 10’. Electricity is available to some booth locations; you must let the festival committee know of any electricity or water needs prior to arrival. Vendors should be prepared to bring their own tents, chairs, tables, and extension cords. If you have any special needs beyond this, please contact us immediately.
Vendor Check In:
Upon arrival, please report to the storefront of 516 Washington Street. This is the 6th and Washington St. intersection. Festival staff will greet you and show you to your location.
Arts/Crafts booths will be set up along both sides of Washington Street over 4 blocks. Food booths are located near the Gazebo park area with the music and wine garden. Specific vendor booth locations will be determined by the festival committee, unless previously arranged with the festival committee.
We book a wide variety of vendors including: painters, wood carvers, pottery artists, photographers, rug makers, jewelry artists, quilters, a blacksmith, metal artists, furniture makers, and numerous food and snack vendors. There will also be live musicians, wine tastings, walking tours, and lots of arts and crafts projects for children and kids activities.
